http://www.kysports.tv – The No. 22 Louisville women’s soccer team received an at-large bid into the 2019 NCAA Championship and will host Lipscomb on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. in Lynn Stadium. The match will be televised on ACC Network Extra.

The Cardinals will be making their sixth NCAA Championship appearance, their first back-to-back appearances since the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

Louisville (12-4-2) finished fourth in the ACC with a record of 5-3-2 for their highest finish in the ACC. Nine Atlantic Coast Conference women’s soccer teams were selected, while three teams earned No. 1 seeds. The ACC’s nine teams are the most of any league and marks the second consecutive year that the conference has earned the distinction. All nine teams will host a first-round matchup and it is the 11th time in the last 12 years that at least eight league teams have been selected. Courtesy UofL Athletics
