UofL FB Adds Texas A&M Transfer to 2023 Signing Class

Marquis Groves–Killebrew signed with the University of Louisville football program, UofL head coach Jeff Brohm announced on Friday.

A transfer from Texas A&M, Groves-Killebrew played one season for the Aggies before coming to Louisville.

A native of Kennesaw, Ga., Groves-Killebrew appeared in two games, making his first appearance versus South Carolina. He finished the year with a pair of tackles.

Playing scholastically at North Cobb High, Groves-Killebrew was a four-star recruit according to all three major outlets and was selected to participate in the 2022 All-American Bowl.

As a senior, Groves-Killebrew posted 38 tackles and a pair of interceptions, leading North Cobb to a 10-2 record, including a 5-0 mark in the 7A Region.


Groves-Killebrew is the 19th signee in the 2023 UofL National Signing Day class.
