UKMBB: Tayshaun Prince selected for 2022 So. Calif. Basketball Hall of Fame

Tayshaun Prince, who was a local high school All-American at Dominguez and a top college player at Kentucky, has been selected for the 2022 class of the Southern California Basketball Hall of Fame (SCBBHOF). Prince, who had a long NBA career, is currently the Vice-President of Basketball Affairs with the Memphis Grizzles of the NBA.

Prince, who once scored 41 points in a NCAA playoff game for the Wildcats, won the 2004 NBA title with Detroit.  The 6-9 Prince still has local ties to the Compton area where he grew up.
