Eastern Kentucky University senior setter/right side hitter Cassie Knutson was named All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team, the league announced at its annual postseason banquet Wednesday night.
Knutson led the offensive efforts for Eastern this season, logging five double-doubles and one triple-double in her senior campaign. She led the team in kills with 351 on the year, was first in points at 382, ranked second on the team in assists with 157 and third on the team in digs with 212.
The San Diego, California native posted a career-high 32 kills in the season finale against Tennessee State, good enough for the most kills in a single match by any OVC player this season.
She posted double-digit kills in 19 of the teams 28 matches. Posting seven games with double-digit digs and five games with double-digit assists.
