UK Athletics Issues Ticket Security Reminders for Florida Game

0

With Kroger Field sold out for a showdown between Kentucky and No. 9/8 Florida this weekend, UK Athletics is issuing important reminders about ticket security for all fans.

UK Athletics urges fans to use caution against counterfeit and invalid tickets. Only tickets purchased directly through the following outlets are guaranteed to be valid:

·       The UK Ticket Office

·       Ticketmaster, including Ticketmaster’s official resale marketplace

·       ReplyBuy

·       FEVO

·       Visiting team ticket office

UK Athletics cautions against purchasing tickets through other outlets that may be unable to provide this assurance. That risk is magnified for sold-out games like Saturday’s.

UK Athletics continuously strives to implement technological advances to provide fans with a ticketing experience that is convenient, safe and secure. To combat ticket fraud and counterfeiting, print-at-home (PDF) tickets have been discontinued at all UK Athletics venues beginning with the 2019-20 season. PDF and print-at-home tickets will not be accepted at any UK Athletics venue and will not be sold by any UK Athletics authorized seller. For more information about ticket security, visit UKathletics.com/TicketSecurity or contact the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 (Option 4).

Ticketmaster is the home of the official and authorized resale platform for UK Athletics tickets, using barcode verification technology to ensure ticket authenticity. Resale tickets for the Florida game may be purchased at this link.

Ticket holders should also be aware of the potential risks of posting pictures of their tickets, specifically the barcode, on the internet in any way. Always cover the barcode when posting pictures of tickets online, and avoid exposing personal information like your name, address or credit card information.

Mobile Ticket Reminders

UK Athletics strongly encourages fans using mobile tickets to familiarize themselves with how to access their tickets prior to arrival at Kroger Field. To expedite entry and avert the risk of mobile tickets not loading due to limited connectivity at the stadium, add your mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account prior to arriving at the venue. Additionally, fans should ensure their phone is charged and screen brightness is turned all the way up when scanning into the venue.

To assist fans with mobile ticketing connectivity and related concerns, Wi-Fi Help Zones will be in place on the exterior of the stadium. They will be located at the guest service locations outside Gates 4, 9 and 12, as well as at the stadium ticket office between Gates 9 and 10. Fans should know the email address associated with their tickets for assistance resolving mobile ticket concerns.
