“I’m looking forward to starting SEC play,” Kentucky head coach Ian Carry said. “I believe that this is what we have been working hard for all preseason and in our nonconference games and this team is ready for the battle, the fight and the effort that is needed in order to be successful in the SEC. I’m looking forward to our first game so that we can sell ourselves and move forward as a group that can be successful so we can push on towards Orange Beach (SEC Tournament).”

The Wildcats are coming off of a 1-0 loss to Indiana at home on Sunday afternoon.
