The University of Kentucky women’s basketball program has added a Junior Wildcat Day Camp for players entering seventh or eighth grade that is designed to teach foundation skills for upcoming basketball players. The camp will start Monday, July 15 and run through Thursday, July 18.
Each day, campers will spend the morning sessions participating in stations to teach them the basic fundamentals of basketball. The afternoon sessions will include fun (non-basketball) activities followed by basketball competitions and league play. All campers will receive a Nike camp t-shirt and will have the opportunity to purchase shorts in the camp store.
Campers registering for camp will have the option to participate in full-day or half-day sessions. Full-day is $225 per camper while half-day is $125 and campers must be picked up by noon.
