Louisville MTEN Climbs to No. 32 in ITA Rankings

The University of Louisville men’s tennis team has climbed to No. 32 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, with three singles players and one doubles team ranked nationally in the April 11 edition. The Cardinals (14-9) made an impressive jump of eight spots in the team rankings following a pair of ACC road wins against Georgia Tech and then-No. 58 Clemson.

Etienne Donnet leads the way in the national singles rankings at No. 28, boasting a 23-6 overall record and a 16-3 mark in dual matches. Fabien Salle follows at No. 50 with a 24-9 singles record and a 12-4 tally in dual matches. Natan Rodrigues completes the ranked singles players at No. 81, holding an 18-11 overall singles record and going 7-8 in dual matches, primarily at No. 1.

In the doubles rankings, the formidable duo of Rodrigues and Salle stands at No. 16, having teamed for a 23-7 record and a 7-3 performance as Louisville’s top-seeded pair.

The Cardinals are set to return to action on Thursday at 5 p.m., playing host to No. 57 Notre Dame in an ACC Network Extra-televised match.
