The Kentucky Softball game vs. North Carolina was placed in a rain delay at 4:29 p.m. PT on Thursday. Kentucky was leading 1-0 as the home team batting in the bottom of the fifth inning at the time of delay.

The game is currently in the “halted” stage, which means that the game can finish as a shortened official game, cancelled, or suspended.

We are still awaiting word from tournament directors as to the result of the game, and will pass it along via social media and this medium as soon as we hear official word.

There are also expected to be alterations to Friday’s schedule. I’ll pass those along as soon as possible.

If you have any other questions – please let me know.

Chris
