The squad has earned a point total of 45.99, which is their highest ranking since claiming the tenth-place ranking in February 2009. The Cardinals have completed two competitions this season, and three of their athletes have marks in the top-ten nationally. Trey Allen is leading the country in the men’s high jump with a clearance of 2.27m (7-5.25), while freshman Brion Stephens’ mark of 2.20m (7-2.5) stands tied for fifth in the nation. On the track, Cameron Miller’s time of 20.77 in the 200m at the Cardinal Classic ranks ninth nationally.

This weekend, the Cardinals will host the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational at the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center on January 27-28. This is a great opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and continue to climb the ranks in the national rating index. The team has been working hard to achieve this ranking, and it is a testament to their dedication and hard work. The fans are looking forward to seeing their team in action and supporting them as they strive to maintain their ranking and continue to make their mark in the national track and field scene.
