lexington, KY– Saturday afternoon Rupp Arena was packed to the gills to witness walk on seniors Brian Long, Sam Malone, and Todd Lanter play the first 22 seconds of the contest. After Long committed his first ever foul Calipari and his Cats put 31 down beating Florida 67-50 with its freshman on senior day.
Yes the Cats are 31-0 but the BBN wants more and so does the Wildcats. Karl Towns had a great stat line and instead of celebrating he wanted to go to the dorm room and question what he could have done better.
Calipari pushes his players to be the “best” and it may not feel like it but these kids are just as special as the history breaking experience. The accomplishment hasn’t occurred since Bobby Knight could throw chairs as the Hoosiers went on to win the tile in 77′.
